Abacus
Ambulance Service was established on March 11th 2001 by John
Evans and Paul Walbourne who still manage the company today
and provide a ambulance service across Essex. They started by
purchasing a Mercedes Benz Ambulance and as a result of this
decision they decided to stay with Mercedes Brand and a further
three ambulances were added over the following four years. This
decision has proven to be the right move due to the reliability
of the fleet. With a regular mechanical history at every 10,000
miles the vehicles are able to offer a reliable service to our
clients.
In addition to the vehicle we have had a further 5 staff join
the company and now have seven full time members of staff and
many more part time staff.
Our vehicles are marked in a distinctive livery, which stands
out in a crowd, and the service we provide is second to none
and we remain committed to improving the service that we can
supply. We chose the name "Abacus" because we wanted
to let people know that they really could count on Abacus Ambulance
Service.
