Spring Mount is a family run business. Janet Bell and Jackie Smith, mother and daughter, are the owner/managers and are involved very closely in the daily running of the home. Janet is a Registered Psychiatric and General Nurse, with many years experience in the Health Service and Jackie a Registered General Nurse and a member of the Institute of Personnel Management. Both are fully qualified in various complementary therapies, including Reflexology and Aromatherapy, which are used in the home.

We are Committed to the principles and values of a recognised quality standard. We Achieved and have maintained the Investor in People award (IIP) since 1999.

Our staff work as a dedicated and well-trained team. We maintain high staffing levels, essential in order for us to achieve our aim and objectives. Our extensive staff training and development plan ensures that all our staff receive the training and development required for them to perform their role in a professional and effective way. This ensures that they work towards and are committed to the philosophy of the Home and gives them a firm foundation for a career in Care. Accreditation takes the form of external and internal assessment, successful students receive NVQ qualifications. To support this we have an 'in-house' modular program of induction and training, of which we are very proud.
